Homework for Thursday 13/2

I want each of you to choose a podcast from stuff you should know and listen to it. You should all choose different podcasts, so comment below once you've chosen yours. It shouldn't be difficult to choose different ones since there are more than 300 available.

Take notes while you are listening to your podcast. It will help you. Look at the assignment below and think about what information and details you will need because it might just save you some time.

After you've listened to your podcast I want you to do the following:

1) Think about which listening technique you just used: listening for the overall meaning, for specific details or detailed understanding and why?
2) Summarize your podcast. I want you to make the summary as interesting as possible while still being informative.
3) Write down keywords from your summary. Use these to practice your summary, because you will present your podcast to the class on Thursday.

Homework for 6/2

Just a quick reminder that you have homework and that there will be a quiz. I will be asking for a description of the word, the translation and you should be able to use it in a sentence. Make sure you can understand the word from the sentence.(see example below)

Ex: Jogging.

X: I like jogging
R: I go jogging in the park every morning.

Article: Headphones

Start with reading this article and write down every word you don't understand.

Write down the words in a document on drive. Name the document "Headphones Words"

I want you to both describe the words in English and translate them to Swedish.

When you are done you should write a short summary of the article.
